Users

This section provides detailed insights into user activities, survey responses, and segmentation for targeted experiences, an integral part of managing interactions and understanding user behaviors.

Users Tab Overview

The Users tab in the "Users & Segments" section provides a comprehensive list of all users who have interacted with your platform. This section allows you to view and manage user data, apply filters, and create segments based on specific criteria.

  • Switch Between Tabs:

    Use the navigation tabs (A) to switch between the "Users" and "Segments" views.

  • Add Filters:

    Click the "Add..." button (B) to apply filters to the user list. These filters are the same as those used for creating segments.

  • User List:

    The user list (C) displays a comprehensive overview of all users, including columns for Name/ID, Email, Last Activity, and Tags.

  • Create Segment:

    Click the "Create segment" button (D) to directly access the segment creation page.

User List Entry Detail

Each entry in the User List provides essential information and management options for individual users. This section helps you understand and efficiently manage each user's details.

Components of a User List Entry

  1. Total Users Count (A)

    • Displays the total number of users found in the current view or filtered list.

  2. User Information Columns (B)

    • Name / ID: Displays the user’s name and unique identifier. Clicking the name opens the detailed user profile.

    • Email: Shows the user's email address.

    • Last Activity: Indicates the time of the user's last activity on the platform.

    • Tags: Allows you to add or view tags associated with the user for better segmentation and management.

  3. Management Options (C)

    • Add Tag: Click this button to assign tags to the user for categorization and segmentation purposes.

    • Delete User: Remove the user from the list by clicking the delete icon (C). This action may require confirmation.

Detailed User Profile

The detailed user profile view provides comprehensive information and management options for each user. This section guides you through the various components and features available in the user profile.

Components of the User Profile

  1. User Identification (A)

    • Displays the user's name and unique identifier.

  2. Navigation Tabs (B)

    • User Data: Shows basic user information and attributes.

    • Activity: Displays the user's activity history.

    • Survey Responses: Lists the responses to any surveys the user has participated in.

  3. Segments (C)

    • Displays the segments the user belongs to.

  4. Attributes

    • Main Attributes (D)

      • Jimer ID: Unique identifier for the user within the system.

      • Email: User's email address.

      • Created At: Date and time when the user was created in the system.

      • Plan: The subscription plan the user is on.

      • Is Trialing: Indicates whether the user is currently on a trial plan.

      • Is SaasMantra: Specific attribute related to the user's status.

      • Count Published Posts: Number of posts the user has published.

      • Count Segments: Number of segments the user belongs to.

    • Custom Attributes (E)

      • Additional custom attributes specific to your organization’s needs.

  5. Tag Management (F)

    • Add Tag: Button to add a new tag to the user for better categorization and segmentation.

  6. Data Integration Guidance (G)

Activity Tab

The Activity tab provides a detailed view of the user's interactions and activities within your platform. This section guides you through the various components and features available in the activity tab.

Components of the Activity Tab

  1. Navigation Tabs (A)

    • Allows you to switch between User Data, Activity, and Survey Responses.

  2. Activity Feed (B)

    • Displays a chronological list of the user's activities, such as completing steps in tours, responding to surveys, or any other tracked actions.

  3. Activity Details (C)

    • Tour Progress: Shows the progress of the user in specific tours. This includes the number of steps completed out of the total steps.

    • Timestamp: Indicates when the activity occurred.

    • Tour Name: The name of the tour or activity the user participated in.

Survey Responses Tab

The Survey Responses tab lists all the surveys the user has responded to.

Survey List:

  • Provides a list of answered surveys. Each entry includes the survey title and the response date.

Answers Preview:

  • Clicking on a survey entry displays detailed responses for each step, including here NPS scores and open-ended feedback.


Other Sections

In addition to the Users tab, you can access user lists in different sections like Experiences statistics tabs or Changelog answers to get detailed insights into user interactions across your application.
