Setup our client-side and server-side integrations for Segment.io

Integrate client-side

When using Segment.io in a client-side application, you should be using in order to install Jimo and make sure Jimo is aware of your Segment.io identify and track calls.

To setup our Jimo (Actions) Destination, please follow those guidelines

Integrate server-side

When using Segment.io in a server-side application, you should be using our Jimo Destination in order for your server to send data to Jimo servers through Segment.io.

To setup our Jimo Destination, please follow the guidelines bellow :

  1. Navigate to your Segment.io dashboard

  2. Add a new destination

  3. Find the Jimo Destination in the Segment Catalog

  4. Go ahead and add the destination

  5. Select your server-side application as Source

  6. Go ahead and finish the setup. You should end up on the Jimo Destination settings like so.

  7. Enable the Segment (server-side) Integration

  8. Copy your API Key

  9. Paste it in the Jimo Destination settings of Segment and save.

  10. Enable the Jimo Destination

In the Jimo Dashboard, navigate to the

Find the Jimo Destination
Select your server-side source
Jimo Destination settings
Enable Segment Server-Side integration
Copy your API Key
Paste the API Key in Segment
Enable the Jimo Destination
