Navigating the Settings

When you log into your Jimo account, the Settings page is your dashboard for customization and control. Navigating the settings in Jimo is a straightforward process designed for ease of use and efficiency. The Settings page, accessible from the main navigation bar, is where you can customize your project to match your brand, collaborate with your team, and fine-tune the experiences you deliver to users.

As you enter the Settings page, you're presented with a sidebar menu categorizing the various settings into a structured layout. This sidebar acts as your roadmap, guiding you through the different areas you can customize:

  • General: Where you manage the basic information and branding for your project.

  • Themes: This is where you can adjust the visual aspects of your experiences to match your brand's style.

  • Installation: Find instructions and code snippets for integrating Jimo into your product.

  • ... and other sections dedicated to specific settings.

Each section in the sidebar corresponds to a different aspect of your project's settings, designed for intuitive navigation and ease of use.

There's also a quick access to some settings in the project pop-up menu you can open by hovering on your project picture in the top left corner.

Project Management

Creating, selecting, and managing your projects is a breeze in Jimo. Here's how you can navigate through the process:

  • Creating a New Project: Click the '+ New project' button to initiate a new project. Fill in the project name and other details to get started.

  • Switching Between Projects: Use the project list in the sidebar to switch effortlessly between different projects.

  • Active Project Overview: The active project is prominently displayed at the top, with its name and unique Project ID visible for easy reference.

Be careful, you can delete your projects from the general settings but it will directly purge all your data for the current project.

Support and Resources

  • Documentation and Feedback: Direct links to Jimo's extensive documentation and feedback options ensure you can always find help or submit suggestions to improve your experience.

Each setting is equipped with tooltips and guides that offer additional context, ensuring you understand the purpose and impact of each configuration. Whether you're a new user setting up your first project or a seasoned pro tweaking an existing setup, the Setting's Navbar is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly.

As you become familiar with the layout and options available, you'll find that navigating the Settings page becomes second nature, allowing you to focus on creating engaging experiences with confidence and clarity.
