# Conditions

In your step settings, you also have the possibility to add conditions between each step, to display another survey question depending on previous answers.

## Manage survey flow with conditions <a href="#id-2-add-conditions-to-display-another-experience-depending-on-the-answers" id="id-2-add-conditions-to-display-another-experience-depending-on-the-answers"></a>

You have the possibility to create a single-step survey or a multistep survey. Depending on the users’ answers, you can display another step/question, finish the survey, launch another experience, navigate to another URL, or add your custom JavaScript code.

A condition that launches another experience holds an [experience link](/docs/build/actions/experience-links.md): the builder shows the answers that launch it and the target, with the colour of its state. To show a follow-up after the survey, see [Chain experiences](/docs/build/actions/chain-experiences.md).
