Each experience type on Jimo has a dedicated dashboard, accessible from the sidebar menu, designed to streamline your workflow from creation to analysis.

Empty State

When you access a dashboard for the first time or have no existing content, the empty state dashboard presents.

Before creating posts:

  • Click ‘+ Create changelog’ to initialize your changelog hub and open the changelog builder to design the main canvas for your posts.

  • Tab Selection (A): Navigate between two main areas within the changelog: "Posts" for managing updates and announcements, and "Feedback" for monitoring user reactions and suggestions. This allows for streamlined handling of different aspects of user interactions.

  • Toggle Activation (B): Quickly enable or disable the entire changelog feature. This control is crucial for managing the visibility of updates and ensuring that information is shared appropriately with users.

  • Preview Unread Comments (C): This feature allows you to see a snapshot of the most recent comments on your posts, enabling you to gauge immediate user responses and engage with your audience effectively.

  • Live Changelog Preview (D): Activate a side-by-side preview of the changelog on your page. This is useful for seeing how changes will appear live to users, allowing for real-time adjustments before finalizing.

  • Customization Access (E): Open the changelog builder to adjust settings like format, style, and presentation of your changelog entries, ensuring consistency with your app’s design ethos.

  • New Post Creation (F): Launch the post builder to draft and publish new entries. This tool is essential for maintaining an up-to-date changelog, and keeping your user base informed about recent developments.

  • Post Filters (G): Utilize filters to manage the visibility of posts within your feed, focusing on active, live posts or accessing drafts to further edit or finalize them for publication.

  • Post Management List (H): Review and manage your posts directly from the dashboard. Each entry can be edited, duplicated, or deleted with ease. Clicking on a post opens a detailed view where you can analyze engagement metrics and refine content based on user feedback.

Post List of Quick Accesses

Discover how to manage all your posts from the Dashboard with ease, making adjustments and reviews as needed. You'll find a few pieces of information directly on the list. On hover, it will reveal quick access to more features

  • Post Status Indicator (A): This label displays the current status of the post, such as "Draft" or "Published," giving you immediate insight into its visibility to users.

  • Action Buttons:

    • Edit (B): Click this icon to modify the post's content. This feature allows you to update or correct information as needed before or after publication.

    • Duplicate (C): This option lets you replicate the post, useful for creating similar updates without starting from scratch, saving time, and maintaining consistency in message formatting.

    • Delete (D): Remove the post entirely from the changelog. This is particularly useful for clearing outdated or irrelevant information to keep the feed focused and useful.

  • Content Preview (E):

    • The content section starts with the author's identification, which includes their name and position, linking the update directly to a credible source within the organization.

    • The main body text describes the update in detail, providing necessary information about changes, enhancements, or new features.

    • Bullet points are used for clarity and to highlight specific changes or important notes, making the information easier to scan and understand.

    • Images or screenshots can be included to visually represent the updates, making the post more engaging and informative.

    • A "Launch experience" button at the bottom serves as a call to action, directing users to other live experiences or any public URL.

Any published experience can be Played/Paused directly from the dashboard list.

Managing Posts

In the Changelog section of the Jimo platform, the dashboard dedicated to managing posts provides detailed analytics and tools for enhancing user engagement with each post. Here's a streamlined guide to navigate and use this section effectively:

Navigation and General Information (A):

  • Back to Dashboard: This option allows you to return to the main dashboard of the Changelog section.

  • Post Details: Displays the name of the post and its creation date, providing quick reference information.

Data Management Tools (B):

  • Export Responses: Allows you to download the data and comments associated with the post in CSV format, useful for external analysis and reporting.

  • Edit: Access the post builder to make necessary adjustments or updates to the content.

  • Delete: Remove the post entirely if it's no longer relevant or required.

Data Viewing Tabs (C):

  • Insights, Analytics, Comments: Switch between these tabs to view qualitative data (Insights), quantitative metrics (Analytics), and user feedback (Comments).

Engagement Overview (D to G):

  • Engagement Rate (D): Summarizes the percentage of users who interacted with the post compared to those who viewed it.

  • Users Reached (E): Indicates the total number of users who have seen the post.

  • Users Engaged (F): Shows how many users have interacted with the post, providing a measure of active involvement.

  • Views (G): Counts the total views of the post, including unique views, to gauge its popularity and reach.

Detailed Analytics (H to J):

  • Activity Graph (H): A detailed graph displaying daily activity, such as views or interactions, helping identify trends and peak engagement periods.

  • Filter Options (I): Allows you to filter the graph by different metrics such as views, reach, or engagement, enabling a customized view of data.

  • Segmentation (J): Analyze engagement by specific user segments, offering insights into how different groups interact with your content.

Managing Feedback

This segment allows you to efficiently gather insights directly from users, facilitating ongoing enhancements and feature updates based on real user experiences.

Feedback Overview (A):

  • Feedback List Preview: Displays all open feedback received. This list provides a snapshot of user interactions and concerns.

Search and Filter (B & C):

  • Search (B): Allows you to quickly find specific feedback using keywords. This feature makes navigating through large volumes of feedback more manageable.

  • Filter by Tag (C): Enhances the sorting process by categorizing feedback based on predefined tags, making it easier to address feedback related to similar issues or features.

Feedback Submission and Management (D):

  • Add Feedback (D): Use the "+" button to entries or import feedback from other sources, ensuring all user insights are captured and considered.

Feedback Details and Actions (E & F):

  • Feedback Details (E): Selecting an item from the list opens a detailed view on the right, showing the user’s name, submission date, title, and the full content of their feedback. This detailed view is essential for understanding the context and specifics of each feedback item.

  • Manage Feedback (F): Offers management options like deleting inappropriate or resolved feedback through an accessible dropdown menu, represented by three dots.
