Share or relaunch a tour using a link

Sharing links is a great way to make experiences available to your users in an on-demand capacity. You might consider using a link to relaunch a tour, allow users to return to this content, or share the tour more broadly through email, chat support, your product, or even a support document.

1/ To generate a link, easy-peasy! In your experience settings, select the “On shared URL” trigger.

2/ Per default, it will be generated by taking the build URL and then appending the proper ending to make the call to fire the particular experience.

3/ Do not forget to publish your experience. Content must be published live for links to work

You can also generate a link to share any experience directly in its detailed view. Go to your dashboard (Tours or Surveys), click on the one you want to share then go to more options in the top right corner and click Public URL.

Best Practices

With Product Tours:

  • Allow users to relaunch a product tour or announcement. Please share it in your knowledge base/help center to allow users to understand something easily.

  • Share an experience in your Chat support to explain how a feature works.

  • Create a chain of experiences for a user experience.

Surveys & NPS

  • Send a survey or an NPS prompt through email that will prompt the user with NPS when they load the web page (this will not be shown in the email client/browser)
