The Jimo–Salesforce integration syncs Salesforce properties with Jimo in near real-time, enabling you to personalize onboarding content in Jimo based on Salesforce data.
Detailed information on how the integration works and how to set it up is provided below. For more general information, check out the Jimo listing in the Salesforce AppExchange.
Easily set up "object mappings" between Salesforce records and Jimo users. This allows you to import Salesforce fields into Jimo for segmentation and targeted experiences.
Contacts
Leads
Accounts
Opportunities
The integration matches Salesforce records and Jimo users through selected ID fields, either via email or a specific ID property. Syncing happens automatically on creation or update in either system and is near real-time, ensuring that the most current properties are always available in Jimo.
Salesforce records are only synced if the corresponding user already exists in Jimo—new users are not created in either system through this integration. Synced properties are shown in the Jimo user profile with a Salesforce icon and can be used to segment and target users based on Salesforce data.
Sign in to Jimo.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Salesforce.
Authenticate with Salesforce and choose the appropriate account.
Select the fields in Salesforce and Jimo that will be used to map records to Jimo users.
By default, the mapping is made on email addresses.
You can also use a custom ID field (make sure it exists in Salesforce as a property).
Choose and map the Salesforce fields from your Contacts, Leads, Accounts, and Opportunities objects that you want to sync with Jimo.
For each property, select or create a matching variable in Jimo.
Run a full sync to apply the changes and populate the properties for your existing users.
To disconnect Salesforce from Jimo:
Go to Settings → Integrations, find the Salesforce integration, and click the Delete button.
The property sync will stop immediately.
