Simplify support and boost user engagement with Jimo’s Crisp integration. This integration allows you to access Jimo user data (e.g., custom attributes) directly in Crisp messages and trigger tailored Jimo experiences from the Crisp support chat, streamlining user assistance and engagement.
Installing the Jimo integration on your Crisp project is quick and easy. Follow these steps:
Find the Jimo Plugin
Head to the Crisp Marketplace and search for "Jimo".
Install the Plugin
Click on the Jimo plugin and follow the prompts to install it in your Crisp project.
Access Jimo from the Crisp Sidebar
Open any conversation in Crisp, and you’ll see the Jimo panel available in the right-hand sidebar.
The Jimo integration for Crisp enhances your support workflow by embedding Jimo’s tools and data directly into the Crisp web app.
Once installed, the integration adds a Jimo tab to Crisp’s right-side menu (currently available on the web app version of Crisp only). You'll have to relogin to your Jimo dashboard.
After logging into Jimo, you’ll select the project you wish to connect. You can also switch projects at any time.
The integration includes three key tabs, each designed to provide actionable insights and tools for user engagement:
Quickly trigger a Jimo experience for the user directly from the chat.
How It Works:
Select an experience from the list.
The integration sends a message in the chat, such as:
tour:start:49e3d8b6-9cae-4264-ba62-3b7f67cd84fd
.
If the experience is set to "Everywhere", it triggers directly on the user’s current page.
For "Single URL", it redirects the user to the entry point URL to start the experience.
You can only trigger experiences from the selected Jimo project that meet the following conditions, others will be filtered out of the list:
Show on ≠ "On shared URL"
Where = "Everywhere" or "Single URL"
Example Use Case: If a user asks, "How do I edit my profile?", you can instantly launch a profile setup tour you’ve created in Jimo, guiding them through the process without leaving the chat.
View key user data and attributes synced from Jimo.
Basic Information (A) Displays the core details about the user, including:
ID: The unique identifier for the user.
Username and Email: Key contact details.
Last Active: Timestamp of the user’s last activity.
Created: The account creation date.
Attributes (B) Shows a list of all custom attributes associated with the user. These attributes provide additional context, such as preferences, behavior, or account details, helping support teams tailor their assistance.
Segments (C) Lists all the segments the user belongs to in Jimo. Segments are groups defined by specific criteria, making it easier to understand the user’s categorization and context within the product.
This tab provides the same kind of detailed user view you’d find in the Jimo User List or the results of specific experiences.
Get a full timeline of the user’s interactions with Jimo experiences.
View when the user:
Started or completed specific tours or surveys.
Engaged with other Jimo experiences.
This log helps support agents understand the user’s past engagement, ensuring personalized and context-aware assistance.
