In your step settings, you also have the possibility to add conditions between each step, to display another survey question depending on previous answers.

Manage survey flow with conditions

You have the possibility to create a single-step survey or a multistep survey. Depending on the users’ answers, you can display another step/question, finish the survey, launch another experience, navigate to another URL, or add your custom JavaScript code.
