Trigger at the right time

This section defines what should start the experiences, and how often it should be displayed.

Defining when to launch the experience

The first set of options configures when the experience should be displayed to a user who qualifies to see it. Options

  • One page opening (default): when a user reaches the page, Jimo will evaluate whether to show them this experience.

  • After an event: experience should display when a specific event is sent to Jimo, using a client-side track call or an event on the fly.

  • On manual trigger: You can set a manual trigger for any other use cases. It allows your developers to trigger an experience whenever you want.

Defining how often to display the flow

The frequency options control how often users who qualify for the flow will see it.

Options

  • Show once: Once the user has seen the flow, it will not reappear. This depends on a user seeing or completing the first step of the flow, and behavior can vary slightly depending on whether the first step is a modal, snippet, tooltip, or hotspot.

  • Show every time: The flow will show every time the user qualifies for the parameters you've set in Audience Targeting even if they have seen it already.

Ignore experiences rate limiting settings

This parameter allows you to ignore the Rate Limiting system, a system designed to prevent users from seeing a lot of experiences in a short period.
